Who we are
This policy explains how HA Automations (“we”, “us”, “our”) handles personal data. You can contact us about privacy at info@ha-automations.com.
For the information you give us through this website, such as an audit request, we are the data controller. When we run automations for a paying client, we handle personal data on that client’s behalf as their processor; those arrangements are covered by our Terms of Service.
What we collect
When you submit an automation audit request, we collect:
- your name, work email and company;
- your team size, sector and a description of the operational friction you want to solve;
- a phone number, only if you choose to give one;
- a record of the consents you give: the data-protection consent you tick to submit the form and, if you provide a phone number, the separate call-consent wording you agreed to and the time you agreed it;
- how you reached us, for example the page address, any campaign parameters in the link, and which button you used;
- any ROI estimate you generated with our calculator.
We also collect basic technical and usage data when you visit the site (see Cookies and analytics below).
Why we use it
We use your information to:
- review your request and respond about a free automation audit;
- contact you about qualifying and, where you have consented, call you;
- understand which content is useful and improve the site.
Our lawful bases under UK GDPR are our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries you send us and running our business, and your consent where you have given it (for example for phone calls and for analytics cookies). You can withdraw consent at any time. We do not sell your personal data or share it for third-party marketing.
Phone calls and consent
We only call you if you have given us a phone number and ticked the separate box consenting to calls about your request. We record the consent wording and the time it was given, and before calling we screen numbers against the Telephone Preference Service and its corporate equivalent as appropriate. You can withdraw your consent at any time by replying to our email or writing to info@ha-automations.com.
International transfers
Some of our service providers process data outside the UK. Where they do, we rely on the safeguards required by UK data protection law, such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or the UK Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
Data retention
We keep audit submissions for as long as we need them to respond to your request and to maintain our business records, unless you ask us to delete your information sooner. We keep consent records for as long as we rely on them and for a reasonable period afterwards so we can show the consent was given.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to:
- ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you;
- ask us to correct information that is inaccurate;
- ask us to delete your data, or to restrict or object to how we use it;
- ask us to transfer your data to you or another provider, where that right applies;
- withdraw any consent you have given.
To exercise any of these, email info@ha-automations.com. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk, though we would appreciate the chance to put things right first.
Cookies and analytics
We use privacy-conscious website analytics to understand how visitors use the site, which may set cookies or similar identifiers in your browser. These are used only to measure and improve the site, not to build advertising profiles. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or use browser extensions to limit analytics, without losing access to the site.
